DeHealth enters a strategic partnership with organization MyVoice

DeHealth, a system that helps to ensure universal aсcess to healthcare services for billions of people and makes it possible to improve your health and make treatments more effective, and organization MyVoice, that develops digital democracy systems like the platform ManaBalss.lv for public digital initiatives, where every citizen of Latvia can publish their legislative initiative and collect signatures for its further implementation, have entered into a strategic partnership.

The partnership aims to increase the influence of each citizen over public and private processes in their country and municipality. This implies that digital tools of democratic processes and decentralization of citizens’ health data management are two halves of a whole.

Recently, organization MyVoice received the European Citizens’ Prize in Brussels and aims to scale Latvia’s digital participation expertise to the EU level. The award ceremony, postponed due to the pandemic, took place on November 9. According to the MyVoice team, this award was an achievement of the entire Latvian society. The jury assessed their project ManaBalss.lv as a solid civic initiative representing European values. It has been working steadily and systematically for ten years, promotes public participation in decision-making, and bridges the gap between decision-makers and society.

The MyVoice organization is also called an excellent example of the use of digital technologies for civil purposes. In addition, it is the first collaborative platform in which youngsters are actively involved.
