DeHealth at ITB Berlin 2023

🇩🇪 We are excited to share that our DeHealth representative, Philippe Gerwill, recently had the opportunity to attend the global ITB Berlin 2023, where he spoke about the current state and future of medical tourism in a post-pandemic world.

As an Executive Advisor, Mentor/Coach, and expert in medical tourism, Philippe's speech focused on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation to address these challenges and create new avenues for growth.

Philippe's visit to the newly added medical tourism pavilion was a highlight of his trip, where he had the chance to connect with industry leaders and learn about the latest developments in medical tourism. Additionally, he explored the technology trends being used in the tourism industry, which was heavily impacted by the pandemic.

Philippe Gerwill - "ITB Berlin 2023 is the biggest international tourism trade fair and for this year it was mainly organized for the tourism industry professional. My main focus was to visit the newly added medicak tourism pavillon as well as to look at technology trends which are used in a tourism industry which was heavily hit by the pandemic. While some technologies like VR Glasses and some other AI based solutions are sometimes used, the majority are still suffering a lot to recover to the pre-pandemic levels and are not having enough budget."
